Austin Partners in Education (APIE) delivers innovative reading and math programs that raise student academic performance at key leverage points -- elementary reading (Spanish and English), middle school reading and math, and college readiness. Classes meet weekly on more than 20 Title 1 school campuses in the Austin ISD. Austin Partners in Education was founded more than 20 years ago by the Austin ISD and the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Partners include more than 275 city and state agencies, businesses and organizations.

Communities In Schools is a dropout prevention program. Through campus-based programs and special projects, Communities In Schools creates a network of volunteers, social services, businesses, and community resources that work together to break down barriers and help students succeed. And the formula works: last year, 99% of the students referred to Communities In Schools stayed in school. Communities In Schools of Central Texas serves thousands of children and families every year, providing options where there once were none. With your help, Communities In Schools can help kids stay in school and become productive members of the Central Texas workforce and community.

Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation's mission is to provide resources to support innovation, enrichment, and equity in pursuit of academic excellence within the Leander ISD community. LEEF supports its mission through three main initiatives, which focus on early literacy, great teaching, and college/career preparation for all students. Funding for programs is made possible through the financial and in-kind support of individuals, local businesses, corporate donors, and philanthropic grants. Eye on the Sparrow Designs was created in 2009 on a challenging journey through a deeply personal grief following the death of local musician and dear friend Carter Albrecht (Charlie Sexton, Edie Brickell). In an effort to support local artists, connecting them to music fans, eye on the sparrow designs takes recycled bass and guitar string donated by local artists and turns them into beautiful bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and pendants for both men and women. A portion of each sale gives back to the community through the Carter Albrecht Music Foundation who awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors pursuing a career in music.
